Hi Jane, I don't believe we know each other, but I was looking at the photos on this site and recognized the covered bridge in Guilford. I have been visiting the Moosehead Lake area since 1985. My late husband was from Rockwood. I'm actually heading up there next week. It's nice to see a fellow Mt. Vernonite enjoying the wonderful state of Maine. I am so looking forward to getting up there and getting out of this Florida heat. Drop me a line if you want. Take care.

Jane, Our Wednesday night Bible study has no set plan of study. Depending on how busy our Pastor is, it will be either him or a sub.

The teacher's briefing is set up to give us ideas for the next Sunday's lesson. We are in a series on the book of Isaiah right now. Last week was Isaiah's visit with God. We just finished a study of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. The more I study the more I find out I didn't know just from reading the Bible.

BTW, Do you ever hear from Becky (Noel) Dolvig? Didn't you two used to chum around together some? We were neighbors and played together in the neighborhood from little people to highscool.

Duane

Hey Jane, I guess you finally talked to Sharon, Huh? Actially wearing that warrior outfit was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It was an exact replica and it gave me a feeling of history. Bill Kirk and the late Wendell McReynols were the cat callers in the crowd. I will see you on the other forum. Gotta go now. Wenesday night is church night. I got a teacher's briefing and Bible study tonight.

Later,

Duane

Perhaps you can answer...I went looking for a copy of Woodchoppers Ball, bought several CD's and none sounded like I remembered from HS. Finally, I just settled on one, it was getting expensive. Then my music teacher hinted perhaps Mr. B rearranged it to suit the HS band? Do you happen to know if he did?

I guess Minor hasn't visited the site yet. Perhaps this will lead him to the answer!

If I were to drive all that way for just a coffee...I wouldn't care what kind, as long as it was covered in whipped cream!

I did apply for a gig as a demo chef at Stonewall Kitchens for our next vacation. They do local chef's with volunteer[that would be me] assistants. If I get the opportunity, I wll let you know way up there in the woods...

I actually saw a clip on the news too! Except it was a shirtless guy and that really did not do anything for me!
Don't ever tell Clark or Minor, but when in K'port, I've chatted with 41 a couple of times and even had lunch with him once at Federal Jack's. Never got an invite to Walkers Point though!
Get ready for Sunday's surprise...
Stay well, Mark
