Thanks for the comment. I do take it as a compliment. As we age I think we begin to see how much those friendships we formed in our younger days influenced us and how important they were and are to us. I know several families in our area that home school their children and I do understand it to a point but, I think of all the good things the kids miss by not interacting with those around them. I know I wouldn't take anything for the friendships I have made over the years and all the memories I have. Of course, there are going to be some bad times and bad friendships along the way but, that too is a learning experience that we should learn to deal with.

All graduating classes, no doubt, think there's is the best as they should. I must say ours was and is a good one. Many have stayed local while others like yourself have moved away but try to maintain some bond with the area. All our earthly possessions don't really mean much if you don't have friends and family. This time of year does seem to help remind of us of how gratefull we should be. Who would have thought all those years ago back in Mrs. Echols class or anyone elses that we would today be thinking about those days never mind the fact that we are able to sit and communicate around the world via a computer?

Sorry to report another '66er has passed. Robert (Bob) Tate passed away Saturday November 7th in Evansville, In, although he lived in Bluford,Il.

Hey folks! Just screaming by in the usual cloud of dust. New house, shoveling in new plants and flowers by the hundreds, we took the top and windschield off of the 66 Jeep and love tooling around that way (yes WE get to drive that way here), friends from Pennsylvannia flying here for a bike race, in preproduction for 4th year of Sports Car Rally Film (very funny/stupid), best wishes to the best class ever!

Classmate Kenny has his horse Colonel John in the Breeder's Cup Classic on Saturday! Go Winstar Farms and Kenny!
